Our verdict
The N4 Pro is built for drivers who need a record of what happens inside the car as well as on the road. The listing describes 4K front, 1080p cabin and 1080p rear recording, infrared night vision for the interior and a buffered parking mode that captures the 10 seconds before motion is detected, once a hardwire kit is fitted.
If you use it for work, the ICO's guidance applies: the business should register and pay the data protection fee, tell passengers they are being recorded (a sticker or sign), keep audio off by default and delete footage it does not need after about a week. The variant trap is the name: Vantrue also sells the N4 Pro S and the N4S. We could not open Vantrue's own product page, so the details above are from the Amazon.co.uk listing.

The ICO says audio recording is more intrusive and should be off by default, used only in exceptional circumstances such as a threat to safety, and passengers should be told if it is on.
