Our verdict
The 322GW is the straightforward choice for a commuter: a 1080p front camera with a 140° view, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for copying clips to your phone, and a touch screen for checking footage at the roadside. Nextbase's modular system lets you add a rear-window, rear-view or cabin camera later, so you are not forced to decide everything on day one. Emergency SOS, which the listing says can alert emergency services to your location after a crash, is a useful extra for lone drivers.
Its limits are resolution and age. It records in 1080p rather than 4K, and Nextbase's own page now mentions a Gen 2 version, so check which one the listing ships. The listing quotes 1080p at 60fps while another part of Nextbase's page says 30fps; we have left frame rate out of our comparison for that reason.
Fitting tips
Mount it behind the rear-view mirror within the wiper sweep. The Click&Go PRO mount carries power, so you can lift the camera off when you park. Nextbase recommends an SD card designed for dash cam use.
